Saturday, December 7, 2024 - Feast of Saint Ambrose, Bishop and Doctor of the Church
Heavenly Father, on this day that we remember Saint Ambrose, a shepherd of wisdom and a light of truth, grant us the courage to learn from his example, to seek understanding in Your Word, and to witness our faith with boldness and love. Through his intercession, strengthen our hearts with humility, that we may serve others with compassion, and lead with grace in times of trial. Grant us the wisdom to discern Your will, and the courage to follow it, even when the path is uncertain. We ask this through Christ our Lord, Amen.

Sunday, December 8, 2024 - Second Sunday of Advent
O Lord, we thank You for all the blessings you’ve given us, especially the everlasting gift of Your son. We acknowledge that we are imperfect, but this gives us more reason to rejoice for the coming of Your Son, who overcame sin and allowed us to strive to be whole again. We ask that you continue to watch over us, grant us the gifts of peace, friendship, security, serenity and joy as we strive to be the best versions of ourselves. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.

Tuesday, December 10, 2024 - International Human Rights Day
Gracious God, grant us the grace to live in peace and patience as we journey through this time of waiting. May our hearts be filled with the light of Your love, so that we may share kindness and care with those around us who need comfort and joy. We especially pray for those who are deprived of their rights to live in peace and justice. We ask that You strengthen our faith and help us to see Your presence in every moment. May the Holy Spirit guide us to love more deeply, to serve more humbly, to do justice, that we may reflect Your glory in our lives. Amen.
