Friday, November 1, 2024 - Feast of ALL SAINTS DAY

In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
On this All Saint’s Day, we thank you for all the faith and goodness you have brought into the world. We ask for guidance as we begin a new month; help us to follow in your footsteps to be the best version of ourselves. Help us to follow God in our actions, thoughts, and words, by caring for others, for nature, and for ourselves. Help us to accept and forgive the mistakes of others and ourselves and to learn from our own mistakes. Thank you for the help you have already given us, from your life stories and our prayers to you, and for being role models in our lives. This November and in the future, we will strive to follow the examples of Saints Francis, Paul, Peter, Lucia, Anthony, Mary, and all the other saints from the past and present. Amen.

God, please continue to guide and support us as we tackle this school year. Be there as we transition into the colder seasons and approach the last few months of 2024. We pray for those still dealing with past hurricanes and ask that you guide them through these tough times. In your name we pray.

God, as we move into this new month of November, let us open up our hearts to these new days and experiences this month will bring. Always push us to be ourselves and learn to be comfortable in the uncomfortable. Only you know our different paths, but give us the courage to trust each of one of your plans and be inspired to be better. We ask that we may always find support in difficult times by your glory and guidance. In your name we pray. Amen.

God, as we approach election day, guide us as we cast our votes with love and integrity. Help us to choose wisely for our communities and embrace unity in our diversity. As the results unfold, may we remain steadfast in our commitment to serve one another and to uphold the values we hold dear.
Bless our leaders with humility and strength to serve the common good.

Tuesday, November 5, 2024 - U.S. ELECTION DAY

In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
Lord, on this day where we often let our opinions dictate our relationships and our perspectives shackle us from reality, open our hearts and minds.
I pray for the acceptance that Jesus Christ showed all people to enter my heart. I pray for the Holy Spirit to remain with me and each conversation I enter throughout this day. In turmoil, help me to be courageous enough to have a respectful and open perspective toward all of your children. Help me to remember the love you show each of us and our inherent commonality: You.

Lord, help us in your guidance, and let us grow in your grace more each day. Let us learn to be more like you, and choose the right path as we navigate difficult times. May your mercy come through to us and help all those in need, and may we do the same.
During times of stress, talk to us through prayer and show us the light you are in our lives which we desire so right now. Let us grow in your mercy, and remember we are all experiencing life for the first time together. We pray to you that our faith grows, especially for those facing strife and the feeling of unknowingness. Guide us, and we will walk towards you. Amen.

O Lord, how you have guided me throughout times both good and bad. I am blessed to know you are part of me and have a plan for my future. I embrace all the gifts you supply, from water, to humans, all you have done for us will be forever cherished. This journey of conscience and choice put us on a path to heaven where we will be with you for eternity. O Lord, thank you for the blessing of life, as you continue to guide and watch over me. Amen.

Monday, November 11, 2024 - VETERAN’S DAY

In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
To honor this day of remembrance for our world’s heroes, let us take a moment of silence for any of those who have passed on in service.

As we remark on those who have given their lives in service to others, may we also look internally at how we assist others in our lives. Help us to recognize those who provide us service without us even needing to ask, whether that be our friends, family, our government, teachers, or even, on this day especially, the military that protects us.
God, help us to realize the presence of love and dedication present in those who assist and those who nurture. Help us to do more of these things, even when it’s hard or uncomfortable, even when it means helping or asking those we don’t really know.
On this dedicated day for the veterans who served our country, help us to forever acknowledge what we can do for others, and everything that others, even those we might not know, do for us. Amen.

Pray we eternally view the climb as the substance of education, and not a reward we ought to possess.
For it is through your guaranteed words which we read, songs which we sing, art which forms beneath fingers that too were sculped in your gracious image, that we obtain the meaning to life – desired by even the happiest soul.

guidance to your holy path,

Sunday, November 17, 2024 - WORLD DAY OF THE POOR

In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
Today, may we recognize our privilege and pray for those stuck in the cycle of poverty. May we band together of children of God and as women of conscience and action to serve the less fortunate. May world leaders work together to create change in societal systems that keep our brothers and sisters in Christ in these positions. May the gift of hope lead those struggling in poverty to remain safe and healthy.
We make this prayer, in Christ’s name, by attempting to imitate his constant acts of service to the ‘forgotten’ members of society, and vow to never forget their value as humans created in God’s image and likeness, like ourselves. Amen.

As we journey through this fall season, let your light guide us through all that we do.
Guide us through the times when we cannot see clearly, or when our path has been challenged and unpredictable.
Give us the strength to continue when it feels too hard.
And provide us with words, so that when our sighs are too deep, we too may be the light for another.
