Monday, June 11, 2018 - Feast of St. Barnabas
We thank you for the gift of your Word, and the spirit and courage you blessed.
Today we celebrate Saint Barnabas, who courageously spread your Word as a companion of St. Paul.
We ask you, O God, to bless us with the fervor to proclaim, and send down the Holy Spirit to inspire us to spread the Gospel of Christ in both our words and deeds - through our Lord Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

Thank you for the beaches which keep us cool in this summer heat.
Thank you for the flowers which make the air smell sweet and the world beautiful.
Thank you for friends and family who help us have fun and keep us company.
Thank you for the summer which gives us rest from the responsibilities of work and school.
And thank you for you, God, who has provided all of this to us, your people, out of the goodness and love in your heart. Amen.

Wednesday, June 13, 2018 - Feast of St. Anthony of Padua
St. Anthony of Padua, Doctor of the Church and Patron Saint of Lost Things,
Thank you for always being there for us when we lose our way.
Your love for God and for all His creation made you worthy of holding miraculous powers.
Please help us to always find our way back to our faith and find the life of grace once again that God wishes for us.
You have shown us the right path to a peaceful life with God through your many miracles.
We ask that you show us how to live like you so we too can have a peaceful life with God.
Please help us find our way and to always live a life of grace. We are always grateful for the love that you share with us. Amen
